The Customer's Problem

Door jumped the left vertical track after a roller stem snapped mid-cycle. Door was stuck at an angle, blocking the homeowner's vehicle.

Our Process

   Secured the door with vise grips below the bottom roller to prevent free-fall.

   Unloaded the spring tension before any track work began.

3. 3

   Replaced the snapped roller and three additional worn rollers with sealed-bearing nylon rollers.

   Re-seated the door into both vertical tracks and re-aligned the horizontal tracks to factory radius.

   Re-tensioned the spring, balanced the door, and ran ten full safety cycles.

Outcome

Door fully back on track and operating quietly. Customer's vehicle freed within the same service call.
